DAPCO™ 18-4F Silicone Firewall Sealants
DAPCO™ 18-4F is a two-component, solvent free, thixotropic silicone paste. DAPCO™ 2100 Primerless Silicone Firewall Sealants
DAPCO™ 2100 is an adhesive, solvent free, thixotropic silicone paste. DAPCO™ 2100 is most commonly used as a coating, sealant, or filleting material in the construction, repair and maintenance of all types of aircraft. The product can be applied using a variety of methods and is especially useful where fire resistance, exposure to phosphate ester fluids, and/or exposure to extreme temperatures -65 ºF (-54 ºC) to 400 ºF (204 ºC) are major considerations. The product can also be used as an insulative and/or ablative heat shield. DAPCO™ 2900 is a two-part, organo-modified silicone sealant with 500 ºF service temperature that can withstand 2000 ºF flame while providing adequate thermal insulation to substrates it is coated on. The product has good resistance to fluids found in the aviation environment, including phosphate ester hydraulic fluids and engine oils (MIL-L-7808, MIL-PRF-23699 HTS), and unlike conventional condensation curing silicone products will not degrade in these fluids at 150 ºF; it will retain its physical integrity after immersion in JRF Type VII, JP-4 and JET-A fuels. Additionally, DAPCO™ is formulated to be 'paint shop friendly' with no free silicone that can 'bleed out' of the cured material, in addition epoxy-based aerospace primers show excellent adhesion when applied to the sealant. /Asset/Dapco-2900.jpg DAPCO™ 3003 Epoxy Adhesives with Repair Compound
